We have many homeschoolers on this site, and many helpers willing to help :) rather than posting and overall "asking for help" it might be more productive to ask specific questions or concepts then let people answer :) If you take a liking to the teaching style of a certain person, you can tag them in future questions by putting a "@" in front of their username like @bringmetheveil I can personally help with Algebra 1, Geometry, and some trig if you would like :) but I'm not sure how the timing would be (as I am not usually around at this time of day) Hope this helped :)

Thank you! May you set me some algebra? c:

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

ohhh that sort of help, as in you don't have questions already? hmm. well then, what sort of algebra have you learn? variables, solving for variables, inequailties?

OpenStudy (theeric):

You can also spend your time looking through the questions and working on them by yourself! Just remember to not post answers without any explanations. There are many websites that teach, and you can try to find those. Then you can ask us if there is anything confusing. I think purplemath.com and sosmath.com are two sites... search for "pauls online math notes" when you want to study calculus. A curriculum is important because it means that you'll go over many of the important things. In a normal curriculum you would learn things that you'd use in the next topic to come. That organization might be helpful. If you can find a curriculum, that could help. And if you have a curriculum or you look at what is on the web, you'll find what kind of questions to ask, maybe! You could also search for problems, like search "algebra example problems" or "substitution example problems." (Substitution is an algebra thing.) Take care!

I don't know what you call it unfortunately, but I am doing things like: 5a + 2 = 27 (What is the value of 'a'?) Answer: a = 5

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

solving equations then :) alright (I've got to go in a few minutes) but I'll see what I can do :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay thank you so much and thank you theEric!

OpenStudy (theeric):

You're welcome! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Jiggly did you post because I cannot see anything

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

sorry, my computer glitched :P I've got this so far, for you to work with. if you like it I can send you more :) I've got to go now though, Have a Nice Day! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks!

OpenStudy (theeric):

@bringmetheveil , you might want to check out "systems of equations" after you're comfortable with solving for one variable. I'm just saying that because I think it's a good next step, it can be very useful, it can be fun, and you can use it with later algebra concepts. And I say it now because I probably won't be keeping track of what you do. Take care!
