what is the simplified form of x-5/x^2-3x-10*x+4/x^2+x-12

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Dear Help: Please help by using parentheses liberally when you share a problem like this. Otherwise the problem statement can be interpreted in multiple ways. for example, do you mean\[x-\frac{ 5 }{ x ^{2} } or \frac{ 5-x }{ x ^{2} }???\]

OpenStudy (mathmale):

You could have written x-5/x^2) or (x-5)/x^2. Those parentheses really do make a difference in clarity.

OpenStudy (radar):

Is this a new problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes
