One way to do this problem is to first calculate the 25% discount on a $50 skateboard. How would you do that? Once you have this discount figure, subtract it from the $50 regular price. The remainder is what Anne paid.
If she buys it for 25% off, that means she paid 100% - 25% = 75% of Tom's price. Find 75% of $50
