HELP!! Can you explain to me how to do this? Lou's annual income was $14,535. He spent 22.9% on housing. Estimate how much he spent each month on housing. How do I do this?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

I'd think, you find the 22.9% of $14,535 total is an annual income, is an annual housing, so 12 months and divide that total by 12, to see how much he actually spend per month
