Which is the degree measure of an angle whose tangent is 1.19?

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

\[\tan^{-1} = 1.19\] use a calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would..if I knew where it was. Can you recommend any good online calculators? lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Never mind, I found one

OpenStudy (theeric):

It's called that "arctangent" function, what @StudyGurl14 is thinking of. You know \(\tan(\theta)=1.19\). What you can use is \(\tan^{-1}(1.19)=\theta\).

Wolframalpha.com makes it easy to just type in what you want to calculate! And it gives you more information. It's great.

Ok thank you!
