Can someone explain this to me please,I feel so stupid that I dont know the answer to this I just started chemistry

they are just units. in the metric system, units increase by a factor of 10.

so really I just divide by unit and I get my answer
941 mL x (1 L / 1000 mL) = 0.941 L
