Which are characteristics of the Inca's civilization? Choose all answers that are correct. A. transformed a deserted island into a large city with causeways B. practiced human sacrifice to keep the gods strong C. built a fantastic city in the Andes where stone masons fitted gigantic blocks of stone without using mortar D. created a vast system of roads to link its empire

I'd go with all of these answers except for (A). The Incan Empire was most definitely NOT on a deserted island with causeways. Everything else, though, holds true. The city in the Andes was Machu Picchu and they held the empire together with thousands of miles of roads throughout the mountains. They also practiced human sacrifice but were probably not quite as bloodthirsty as the Aztecs.

C and D. The Incan civilization was not on a deserted island with causeways. And they didn't sacrifice human to keep the gods strong, that was the Aztec civilization.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Yeah. It probably is C and D. Not like it will help the asker anymore. @drewsean @~ @akatsuki @TheSmartOne
