OpenStudy (anonymous):
How do I simplify an expresion with sqrt(-1) in the numerator and (4-3i)-(2+5i), I just want to know how to be able to do it
random231 (random231):
just add or subtract the common terms and keep them separate
OpenStudy (anonymous):
But how do you get rid of the square root in the numerator?
random231 (random231):
do u have anything in the denominator?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
(4-3i)-(2+5i) is in the denominator, does that simplify to 2+2i?

random231 (random231):
yeah
random231 (random231):
then multiply 2-2i both in numerator and denominator
that will help u get rid of i in numerator but will add i in denominator
