It is kind of a finance problem, at least i think it is similar to depreciation calculations: So here goes: Given a 100 year lifespan target; rate of decline of muscle strength between 50-65yo at 10% per year; rate of decline of muscle strength after 65yo at 1-2% per year; a minimum hip extensor muscle strength of 1.7N/kg for independent living; 65kg average male weight at 100 years old. What is the starting strength needed at 50yo for the average male? Express it N/Kg So, I thought to convert 1.7N/kg*65=110.5N force needed at 100 yo to be independent. Then, 'depreciate the unkn
