First you need f(3) and f(5) That is just place 3 and 5 into the below function. (replace t with 3 first than with 5) f(t) = -16t^2 + 48t + 100 Once you are done the average rate of change is: \[\frac{ f(5)-f(3) }{ 5-3 }\]
