Can someone help me please??? Solve the equation or formula for the indicated variable. s=6r^3t, for t

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what i have to do if i want t alone on the right side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You must isolate the value for t on one side of the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do not subtarct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

t=s/6r^3 I hope this can help...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you had the equation 12x = 24 how would you determine what x is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks but can someone help me with the steps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Leave t on one side of the eq.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you are trying to remove a value from one side of an equation that is multiplied then to remove it you must divide. (ie 12x=24 divide both sides by 12 you get x=2). Same thing in the equation given. s=6r^3t. 6r^3 must be divided from both sides to get t-s/6^3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry meant t=s/6r^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I'm correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes thanks soo much
