factor 9x^2+6x+1

\[(3x+1)(3x+1)\]

If you're being asked to factorize it's often safe to assume you have integer coefficients (or at least you should think about these first). The pairs of positive integer factors that can make up 9 are 1*9 and 3*3. The pairs of factors that can make up 1 are only 1*1. This gives only a couple of options which can easily be bruteforced. \[(9x+1)(x+1) ?\]\[(3x+1)(3x+1)?\]
