if you were an american soldier in world war II would you rather be in the pacific theater or the atlantic theater?

if your asking which is a lesser hell i would probably choose pacific.there werent any trenches with mustard gas and hours of none stop artillery fire.the pacific mostly consisted off naval combat and island hoping.rather be on a battle ship then in a tank anyday. there were used in pacfic just not as heavly as in the alantic
