cube1=0.5cm cube2=1.0cm cube3=2.0cm cube4=3.0cm determine area, volume, surface area, and surface area to radius for each cube. for the CUBE# 1I used 1.5cm^2 for surface area, 0.125cm^3 for volume, and 12 for surface area to volume radius. can someone help with rest please?

OpenStudy (loser66):

How can you get the #1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for area i multiplied wxh which was 0.5x0.5= 0.25cm^1 for surface area i added each sides 0.25cm^2 x 6 sides= 1.5cm^2 for volume i multiplied HxWxL 0.5x0.5x0.5=0.125cm^3 for surface area to volume radius i did surface area divided by volume 1.5cm^2 divided by 0.125cm^3 =12 or 12:1 @loser66

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i meant surface area to radius on that last one sorry

OpenStudy (loser66):

so, what's wrong with the others?? for cube#2 area = 1 x 1 volume = 1x1x1

OpenStudy (loser66):

and so on. who stops you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont know how to get the answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my teacher helped me on the first one but she said to get help from someone else on the others :(

OpenStudy (loser66):

I copy your first one : for area i multiplied wxh which was 0.5x0.5= 0.25cm^2 the side is 0.5 , so you take 0.5 x 0.5 = 0.25cm^2 for cube2 , the side is 1cm , so the area is 1.0 x 1.0 =1.0cm^2 that's it IMITATE EXACTLY what your prof does. just change the length of the side

OpenStudy (loser66):

for cube3 the side is 2.0cm , so that the area is 2.0 x2.0 =4.0cm^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i tried but it didnt come out the same because the areas were different like the surface area to radius was 12:1 for cube 1 but i got a crazy mad long number for cube 2

OpenStudy (loser66):

surely the second one is not the same the first one. they are separately calculated. the answer for each of question is different from other

OpenStudy (loser66):

if you have cube 1 done, let it go do the second one, done? let it go do the third one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know but i just cant do the cube 2 or 4

OpenStudy (loser66):

I don't see any reason of your sentence :"I can't do". Do it. I can give you the answer in 2 minutes, but I won't. I wish you can do it by yourself

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so cube 4 area equals 3.0x3.0=9.0cm^3

OpenStudy (loser66):

cm^2 , not cm^3 , and the leftover is OK!! that means it is 9.0 cm^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cube 4 volume 3.0x3.0x3.0= 27.0cm^2 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait no volume would be cm^3 right

OpenStudy (loser66):

this volume is cm^3 the leftover is ok, it means 27.0 cm^3|dw:1389556104156:dw|
