Sometimes but then again they aren't. Some working women can not stay at home o care for their children. You can look at it how ever you like.

It depends on the priorities that women take into consideration when they work either to give importance and priority to Work (money) or to blance between the two ( which is a diffuclt task ) and it depends also on the cultural dimensons of societies Individualism vs Collectivism, Masculanity vs Femenity ( patriarchal or matriarchal society) etc ....
