x + y >= 5 y >= -x + 5 y intercept is (0,5) x intercept is (5,0) slope is -1 when graphed, use a solid line and shade above the line x - 2y > 8 -2y > -x + 8 y < 1/2x - 4 y intercept is (0,-4) x intercept is (8,0) slope is 1/2 when graphed, use a dashed line and shade below the line. when finished graphing you will find the solution to be (8,-1)

anytime :) if you did not have to graph and you just wanted the answer, you could sub each of your answer choices into the equations and see which ones are true...keeping in mind that your answer choice has to be true in both inequalities.
