@kelliegirl33

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is just like the other one I asked.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have answer choices ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. (0, 0) B. (–4, –2) C. (6, 2) D. (6, 0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have to graph or do you just need to find the solution ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just solution :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I bet your typing up an essay to explain lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Puppy :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you just need the solution, sub in your answer choices and see which one is correct...I will do the first one for you. (0,0) x = 0 and y = 0 now we sub -3x + 4y > 0 -3(0) + 4(0) > 0 0 + 0 > 0 (incorrect) you do not have to go any further with this because it is already incorrect in the first equation...this is not the answer. now try the second answer choice... (-4,-2) -3x + 4y > 0 -3(-4) + 4(-2) > 0 12 -8 > 0 4 > 0 (this is true) now you have to sub it into the second equation x - 3y > 0 -4 - 3(-2) > 0 -4 + 6 > 0 2 > 0 (true) I just found your answer.....(-4,-2) satisfies both inequalities

wowowoow ty

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol....sorry it took so long

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so detailed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I try to explain....perhaps I go a little to far with that..lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yea, but much appreciated

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:D Thanks

no problem :)
