Well in the book lord of the flies the boys we're scared and began having anger an hatred towards each other ... Their fear was turning them savage ... SO they split up and would constantly try to hurt and steal from each other .. And they were not welcoming to any body who came near their so called territory or section of the Island..... Just like the insects when they are scared they become ferocious
