The orbit of any stellar body around another is a great example of centripetal force. the force in this case is gravity. i suggest you do the moon or one of the planets in the solar system.

when your dad is driving a car and takes a sharp turn, you get thrown outward yea? :D

also if u spin your clothes in the washing machine, and then open the lid, you would see the clothes sticking to the sides yea? ;-)

Do u know what would happen if u were driving a car verrrrry fast and suddenly took a turn , like in some action movies.. the car would topple.. example (james bond movie casino royal ending when bond is driving fast at night, and suddenly spots his girlfriend tied on the road, also u can see another scene in the movie UNSTOPPABLE, where the train takes a fast curve and so almost topples)
