could someone just over look my problem make sure got ir correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is incorrect. What formula did you use?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12*14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is not the equation for volume of a cyclinder. Your last worksheet you posted included this formula use that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The volume of a cylinder is the area of its base (a circle) multiplied by its height.\[V=\pi r^2h=\pi(12)^2(14)=6333.45\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok i dont understand this next quasion could u explain it for me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, that final equals sign should be an approximate sign.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont understand this one

Basketball use the volume of a sphere formula Cone use the volume of a cone formula

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the basket ball it would be D?? correct @whereismymind49

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For basketball, use the volume of a sphere:\[V=\frac{4}{3}\pi r^3=\frac{4}{3}\pi(4.7)^3=434.89\]For cone, use the volume of a cone:\[V=\frac{1}{3}\pi r^2h=\frac{1}{3}\pi(2.5)^2(10)=65.45\]
