Describe how waves superpose on each other using specific examples from two types of waves.

Drop two pebbles into a pool of water. You'll see them combine, producing some flat zones and some unusually elevated ones.

Use two tuning forks slightly different from each other, getting "beat" sound that in sound and soft with a frequency equal to half the difference of the tuning fork frequencies. this is due to reinforcement and interference.
