Plug in 3 for n, then 4, then 5.\[f(3)=f(1)+f(2)+f(3-1)=f(1)+f(2)+f(2)=2+4+4=10\]\[f(4))=f(1)+f(2)+f(4-1)=f(1)+f(2)+f(3)=2+4+10=16\]\[f(5)=f(1)+f(2)+f(5-1)=f(1)+f(2)+f(4)=2+4+16=22\]So f(5)=22
