A ball with a weight of 60 Newtons is placed in a swimming pool where it displaces 55 Newtons of water. Will the ball sink or float?

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Hello and welcome to OpenStudy. Recall that the buoyant force is gravity times the volume of water displaced. Since water's density is 1, it will just be mass times volume, which is also just weight. The weight is given to be 55N. So you have the downward weight of the ball to be 60 and upward buoyancy of 55. What do you think? This is, of course if I am right. I am also skipping some calculations.
