Shakespeare! Are Blindness, Madness, and Betrayal all motifs in King Lear, or is it just one of them? Can't find an english section.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ignore that last part lol, copy/pasted from the math section

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

LOL. Kk. Well, you found English...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now I just need to know the answer to that question ;-; Any help would be appreciated.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Search for the terms here: http://www.sparknotes.com/shakespeare/lear/themes.html

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So all 3 are motifs?

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Looks like it to me. I see all three there, and two are major parts.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I see under motifs that it says Betrayal and Madness, but Blindness is under symbols. I can only choose 1 or all 3 though, so Im guessing all 3.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Exactly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, thanks a lot. :)

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

np. Have fun!
