I have the same problem as peripateticvoyager ie connecting the python terminal to the shell. The solution steps include: 2.open terminal change directory using cd command. go to the location. How do I open terminal change directory using CD??

you will see you need to open a new window through which you type the code. then once you save it, you can run the module which will then appear in the python shell
