NCERT books are the most basic ones for IIT prep,,very useful for crystal clear understanding of concepts,,only after finishing the ncert course, other books must be referred for gradual and thorough understanding

For mathematics try the cengage series. For physics treat resnick & halliday as bible and HC verma is a must
