Now, I went an extra mile for you and I asked my History teacher about the Colombian Exchange that happened when the Europeans discovered South America. It seems that some stuff that were from America included corn, potato, tomato, and tobacco. I believe that the corn was ONLY from Latin America so I think the best thing to choose would be D, but don't trust me too much.

As for the second question...

Well, think about it. You already know that you never eat plantains. So obviously it wouldn't be A or B. Since the word "never" is there, then I think the safest answer would be D because if you never eat them then you HATE them. Now if you eat them once in a blue moon then it might be because you don't like the taste or something. So D...I believe. :}

Oh. It's actually not about that. It's basically not asking your opinion, but what you would say if you like/love/dislike/hate something. It confuses you at first, but you'll get used to it. :}
