What Might Happen If Their Were No Checks and Balances built into the Constitution

Well for one, it wouldn't make sense in our bicameral government, which is based around checks and balances. Essentially the president and senate, house of representatives both would have full power meaning that both could create laws, pass bills and such. 
TL;DR: Our government would be even more dysfunctional than it is now.

Any one branch in our government(legislative, executive, judicial) could go into absloute power without threat and could therfore dictate and influence much of our then government structure
