OpenStudy (anonymous):

what are the ratio of the perimeters and ratio of the areas for these figures? (they're similar)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As figure are similar so all the sides in the two figures will be similar. All sides in first figure will be a FACTOR of sides in second

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For perimeter you need to find sum of all the sides so they will follow a factor of 16/18 and area (16/18)^2

@superdavesuper :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@superdavesuper i dont get all of it

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

OK perimeter is sum of all sides right? Because the two shapes are similar, the ratios of the sides will be the same...so what do u think the perimeter ratio should be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first is the ratio of the perimiters then the rati of the areas (in that order i mean)

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

Yup so we need to get the area ratio - area is usually depending on width n length right? So in this case, the ratio of areas should be....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk =/

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

We should talk about the sides are in the ratio of 8/9...if we multiply two sides together, they will be in the ratio of.....
