Convert these unlike fractions to equivalent like fractions and add them. You must use the LCD to get the answer correct. If possible, reduce the final sum. 1/5 + 2/3 = . Is this right?: 1/5 converts to 3/15, and 2/3 converts to 10/15 for a total of 13/15. Simplest form is 13/15. Did I do this correct? Thanks so much! Mom :)
