All of the following are examples of electric current except _____? A.Charges flowing in one direction through a circuit B. Charges moving through a conductor C. Electrical discharge from a charged object D. Electrons moving through copper wire
C!
can you explain your answer ? (:
Electrical discharge isn't a form of electric current.. Because electric current is continuous, whereas electric discharge only lasts for a short time in comparison. By continuous I mean that current lasts only as long as the power source of the circuit is functioning :)
thank you (:
No problem :)
You wrap a wire around a piece of iron. If you slowly increase the strength of an electric current flowing through the wire, you would expect _____.
The iron becomes magnetised!
so the magnet would become stronger ?
Totally yes, the magnetisation of a wire increases if it has an iron core in it.
thank you (:
No problem :) Just message me if you have any more questions, but bear in mind I haven't studied all this in three years or so, So I'm a little rusty :)
i think your a great tutor (: deeply appreciated with the help you briefed me with today
