Simplify. 3x^-2/y

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

Simplify it into what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All it says is to simplify the expression.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3/x^2y

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

Probably because the exponent can't be negative so, 3x^-2/y It technically would be 1/3^2/y but it wouldn't much sense. 3/x^2y would make sense if you were trying to isolate 3, I checked with my sister and 3/x^2y make more sense lol
