I need someone to check my answer please?
Law of sines and Cosines. Solve each triangle. Round your answers to the nearest tenth. 1) m<C=11 degrees, c=31ft, b=28ft
I got B=10 degrees, A=159 degrees and a=58ft
Ok, first of all, which law are you using? Sines or Cosines?
Okay When I found Angle B i used the law of sines and for angle A i just subtracted 11 and 10 from 180. And for side a i used law of cosines
Did you solve for the side and angle A?
Yes
ok, give me a minute to check your answers with a calculator.
Okay.
Angle B = 9.92 degrees (let's round to 10) Angle A = 159 degrees Side A = 59.22 units
Okay How did you get 59.22?
(Sin 11 / 31 ) = (Sin 159 / A)
Then you turn that into 31sin159/sin11?
Yeah, I used my calculator to get an approx. answer, which was 58.22 not 59.22, sorry.
So i was right? :D
Yeah, you were, good job! :D
Ok i Have a question but why didnt you use a^2=28^2+31^2-2(28)(331)cos159
Because I'm a freshman, and I haven't learned the LAw of cosines yet xD
Lmfao OH. Im a senior XD!
Ahh ok, see you know way more than I do xD
LOOL. Good luck in high school XD thanks for your help.
Thank you lol
