What is the formula of a compound formed between Sulfur and Cobalt (III)?

thomaster (thomaster):

Cobalt(III) Sulfide I guess... \(\sf\large Co_2S_3\)

Thank you very much. Is there a simple way of explaining how to figure that out, or would it be to much trouble to explain?

thomaster (thomaster):

There are only a few options, A sulfide, a sulfate or a sulfite. Since sulfate and sulfite contain oxygen, and sulfide only contains sulfur, I think that should be the right answer.

You're very good at explaining, thanks again.
