evaluate the integrals..can someone check if i set it up right? *Postin prob

OpenStudy (math2400):

\[\int\limits_{?}^{?}(x ^{2}-5x)e^xdx\] ignore the ?s i made u=x^2 du= 2x dv=(1-5x)e^x, v= e^x-5xe^x is v wrong?

OpenStudy (raden):

yeah, v is wrong :)

OpenStudy (math2400):

could u explain how i get it again? lol i need a refresher cuz i did it so long ago<

OpenStudy (raden):

first, you can simplify the equation above. it like this (x^2 - 5x) * e^x = x^2 * e^x - 5x * e^x

OpenStudy (math2400):

ok did that first

OpenStudy (raden):

so, the integral above becomes |dw:1389663607193:dw|
