How can an offspring inherit a recessive trait? a) an offspring can inherit a recessive trait if one of its parents has the trait and the other is homozygous for the dominant allele b) an offspring can inherit a recessive trait if one of its parents is heterzygous for the recessive allele and the other is homozygous for the dominant allele c) an offspring can inherit a recessive trait if both of its parents are homozygous for the dominant allele d) an offspring can inherit a recessive trait if both of its parents are heterzygous for the dominant allele
The allele for purple flower is most likely? a) dominant to the allele for whit flower color b) recessive to the allele for white flower color c) codominant with the allele for whit flower color d) incompletely dominant with the allele for white flower color a few moments agoDelete 18 Wild_Brunette101 Medals 0 i think number 1 is D I think number 2 is A

For 1, d- isn't it supposed to be recessive allele? Then if it was it would be right. 2. is most likely A.
1) Recessive traits can only be observed if both alleles are recessive. You might have to use logic/punnet squares 2) The name is purple flower. What color, purple or white, do you think is dominant?
2. White is dominant
I might have to rethink 1. But for 2 it doesn't seem right. If white is dominant, then the flower would be white
so purple is dominant because there is a picture with this question and it shows a purple flower
...yes. The picture would have helped.
sorry lol. So i think the first 1 is D
I think so too
ok
