Periodicity is best defined as: the fact that elements increase in atomic mass in a regular way the repeating nature of physical and chemical properties with increasing atomic number the regular growth of atomic size with atomic mass the consistent decrease of nuclear charge with atomic mass the repeating nature of atomic nuclear structure

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Welcome to OpenStudy. Do you know what the period means? It means that there is a repeating pattern. What is that pattern for elements?

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

This should help: http://www.learner.org/interactives/periodic/basics_4_periodicity.html

i was thinking that it was the last one. i just don't know,

OpenStudy (wolfe8):
