OpenStudy (raden):

angle 4 and angle 8 are corresponding angles, they are be same. so, <4 = <8 3x = x+40 solve for x, first. then distribute of x into one of the equations of <4 or <8. now, get out your answer

So 20?

OpenStudy (raden):

x =20 then subtitute x = 20 into <4 = 3x so, <4 = 3 * 20 = 60
