so you would combine the numbers with the terms that are alike. In this Case you would add 10 and 13 together to get 23. Then you would do -3y add that to 5y to get 2. so now you have 23+2y. Then you would combine -7x with 5x to get-2x. now the end result would be 2y-2x+23. Does that help?
