sorry the info on wiki doesnt really help for this problem i guess ok because its an equilateral triangle, all the sides are the same thus all the altitudes are of equal length ae = bf = cd 8x-4 = 4x +20

sure solve linear equation for x 8x-4 = 4x +20 step 1: add like terms, move "x" terms to one side with constants on other side step 2: divide to get "x" by itself step 3: plug that "x" value back in to find length bf
