In "Tiger - Tiger!" why does Mowgli cover his face when the villagers tell stories about the jungle? A. He is confused and trying to keep them from seeing that he does not understand the words they are saying. B. He is excited and trying to keep them from noticing that he wants to talk much more about life in the jungle. C. He is being mischievous and trying to keep them from seeing him plan ways to trick them. D. He is being polite and trying to keep them from seeing him laughing at their foolishness.
