In triangle RST, angle S is a right angle and csc R=5/3. What is tan T? A. 3/4 B. 4/3 C. 4/5 D. 5/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

csc=hypotenuse over opposite, so use that to fill in the triangle, and then tan=opposite over adjacent. Tell me what you get if you want to check.

I'm really bad at math lol but would the 5 be the hypotenuse and 3 be the opposite or...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, and then use the Pythagorean theorem to get the final side
