Marine biology studies the diversity of organisms under water. It focuses more on the biology of organisms, like you'll learn about life cycles of certain organisms, study their ecosystems sometimes. Why you should study it because its very enriching and fun. If you want to be a marine biologist, you should at least know how to snorkell to really appreciate the subject. It all depends on your interests.
