A man goes to a shop and buys two packs of pen each pack of pen costs dollars 50 he got two discounts on each item first 10% and then 5% he paid 100 dollars to the shokeeper.Calculate nad find the amount that th shopkeeper returned.......(Pls also say me how u did it....will give fans and medals)

The pens cost 100 dollars altogether. 10% off of that is 90 dollars, and another 5 percent off of that makes it 85.5 dollars. 100-85.5=14.5 dollars.

like if you have 100 oranges and you decide to give 20% of your oranges to your friend and then 10% of rest of your oranges to your other friend then you would give 20 oranges to your first friend, and then 8 oranges to your second friend, then you would have 72 oranges. If they ask what percentage of oranges you had given then it's 100-72=28 percent.
