A membership to Movie Night Movie Club costs $10 plus $2 per movie. Y = 2x +10. Type how to graph the equation using the y-intercept and slope. Be sure to tell where you place the first point and how to find the location of the second point.

How about starting at x = 0 then using the slope to get the next value?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your first point is at 10 then you would go up twice and to the right once and that's your next point

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the y intercept is 10, so you would put your first point at 10, the slope is 2/1, so you use rise over run. starting at (0,10), you would move up two, and over one, giving you (1,12)
