Torn? I'm not completely positive, but to me, I feel like "I tore my shoelace." and "My shoelace is torn." Sounds better.

Always use brought when using past tense. :)

I think it's stole. You use stolen for something that's been happening for a long time. For example, "My aunt has stolen all my food when she comes for dinner for years."
