how do i write a 300 word essay on fransis drake
including his description of his accomplishments and an evaluation of his success or failure. and Include my personal opinion.

I would start with his most famous accomplishments. Starting with the quote that he singed the Spanish's beard would make a good opener in my opinion. Then talk about the Armada, his circumnavigation, his life, and other details from your history class and how that helped England in the 80 years war etc. You yourself will have to decide if it was a success or failure (Armada was largely attributed to the weather tbh), but whichever case talk about the EFFECTS of his actions to justify your viewpoint. I would probably then end my essay with my personal view. Reflect on his actions, some more harmful then others, and write a sentence about whether that affected history for better or worse. 300 words is not long at all and I hope this helped.
