OpenStudy (anonymous):

If mL = 81° and mN = 36°, what is mY? 63° 135° 9° 54° @ranga

OpenStudy (nikato):

First u want to find the m<M

OpenStudy (nikato):

A triangle is 180 So 81+36+m=180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

117=180?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry 117+m=180

OpenStudy (ranga):

so m = 180 - 117 = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

=63

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so since the triangles are congruent 63 degrees is my answer?

OpenStudy (nikato):

And becuz of the order u wrote LMN=XYZ, M=Y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH wow thanks!;)

OpenStudy (nikato):

Ur welcome

OpenStudy (ranga):

yes. LMN and XYZ are congruent. Notice the order of letters in the two triangles. it means angle L = angle X; angle M = angle Y and angle N = angle Z
