How do you rewrite x^2 + 4x + 4 as a square of a linear expression?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since \(x^2+4x+4\) is a perfect square trinomial, get the square root of the first and the last term (these two terms connected by the sign of the second term of the trinomial), then square it, like \((\dots)^2\)

ok thanks
