lim of f(x) as x->2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is \(f(x)\) ? if it is a continuous function than it will be \(f(2)\) but we need to reason that out first.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be does not exist?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Notice that if you approach the limit of \(x \to 2\) from the left side is different than when you approach the limit of \(x \to 2\) from the right side, so I agree with you, it does not exist. The function is not continuous at \(x=2\)

thank you so much!!!

you're welcome
